I decided to go to the Folsom faire this
year, even though it's a huge drive (800
miles round trip) and a relatively small
event. After spending most of the day
wandering around, I was extremely happy that
I went.
This is indeed a small faire, but it's
lively, festive and filled with both
participants and patrons. Since the faire
falls one week after Casa
de Fruta, many participants from that
faire also attend Folsom.
The faire is small in size, but don't let
that fool you. There is probably more
shopping stuffed into this little space than
any other faire, and since many consider it
to be the "last faire of the year" it tends
to have many bargains available, especially
after 4pm on Sunday.

indeed my winner for "prettiest lady at the
